Golden Globes 2010: And the Winners Are…

golden-globesAvatar won the top honor at the Golden Globes, garnering a Best Picture and Best Director award, while Crazy Heart took home two awards for Best Actor – Jeff Bridges and best song.

Meryl Streep competed with herself in the Best Actress, Musical/Comedy category and walked away with a win for her role in Julie & Julia, while Blind Side actress, Sandra Bullock won the Best Actress Award. Precious star, Mo’Nique won the Best Supporting Actress Award in a Drama.

Inglourious Basterds actor, Christoph Waltz won Best Supporting Actor in Drama and Robert Downey Jr. won Best Supporting Actor in a Musical/Comedy for his role in Sherlock Holmes.

In television, Glee walked away with the award for Best Musical/Comedy, while AMC’s hit show, Mad Men took home the Best TV Drama award for the third consecutive time. Michael C. Hall won Best Actor, while The Good Wife star Julianna Marguiles won Best Actress.
