Padma Lakshmi: It’s a Girl

Padma Lakshmi welcomed a baby girl on Saturday (Feb. 20).

“Model, author and Emmy-nominated host of Top Chef Padma Lakshmi gave birth to a baby girl named Krishna Thea Lakshmi on Saturday,” her rep told People. “Mother and baby are well and happy.”

Lakshmi announced her pregnancy back in October after years of struggling with endometriosis.

She has not said who baby’s father is.

Congratulations to the happy mom!
