James Franco and Mila Kunis: ‘Date Night’ Duo

The film stars Steve Carell and Tina Fey who play a New York couple whose romantic evening takes a dangerous and thrilling turn when they use someone else’s name to get a table at a restaurant.

Mila Kunis plays Whippit and James Franco plays Taste, who have a strange encounter with the couple.

Mark Wahlberg, Mark Ruffalo, Ray Liotta, Leighton Meester, Common and SNL’s Kristen Wiig round up the cast.

Date Night opens in theaters on April 9!

Sam Worthington covers the latest issue of Details magazine. Here’s what the Avatar star had to say:

On why he comes across like an idiot:
“I’m still a very boisterous young man. And I swear a bit more than I should. So I’m learning to temper it, you know?”

On liking to work:
“I hate downtime. This is the first time I’ve had time off. I hate it.”

On his childhood:
“I’m not a great fan of people who say they put a sheet up in the backyard when they were 7 and entertained all the neighbors. When I was 7, I thought I was a f-cking fire truck. Growing up, you tended to just go through school to get out… then figure out what you want to do in this big ball of mud.”

On where he wants his career to go:
“Most people could say, ‘I want to be on magazine covers. I want to have enough money to buy a house. If it was tangible hopefully I wouldn’t be doing it, to be honest.”

On fame:
“If you start walking around in a red chinchilla, thinking you’re better than everybody,” Worthington says, “you’re going to look like a dickhead.”

Kirstie Alley Works Out Again in New Reality Show

Although she has been struggling with her weight for quite some time, Kirstie Alley wants to prove that she can shed off the weight again – but this time in front of cameras.

Alley enlists the help of her overweight handyman, Jim and convinces him they should diet and exercise together.

In the first few episodes Alley is bothered by the paparazzi that are hiding behind the gates of her house and following her to get a photo that can be plastered on the cover of the National Enquirer.

She hires a personal trainer to whip her back into shape, but finds that loosing the weight is not as easy as gaining it.

Although the show might not as be as juicy as other reality shows out there, Alley is focusing on getting in to better shape, even if it means all of America watching her.

Kirstie Alley’s Big Life premieres on Sunday (March 21) at 10 p.m. on A&E.

Katherine Heigl Explains Darker Locks

Katherine Heigl was rocking a different look at the ShoWest awards ceremony held in Las Vegas.

The 31-year-old actress said that it was for her upcoming role in One for the Money.

The actress, who was also named Female Star of the Year, said of the role:

“She is a very specific kind of girl, so I just wanted to show the legion of fans that I will be your vision of Stephanie Plum. It’s important. I hate when my favorite books are made into films and they are just not what you expect.”

Reese Witherspoon is a ‘Pioneer Woman’

Reese Witherspoon has been reportedly tapped to star in the romantic comedy The Pioneer Woman.

Columbia Pictures is developing the film which is based on a blog by Ree Drummon, who wrote about a detour on a trip from L.A. to Chicago that led her to Oklahoma. She met a cowboy of her dreams and went from being a spoiled city girl to domestic ranch wife.

Drummond also wrote a bestselling cookbook.

Tina Fey and Steve Carell: ‘Date’ Couple

Date Night co-stars Tina Fey and Steve Carell cover the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. Here’s what the funny duo had to say!

What Steve thought about the long kiss that he and Tina share after the credit rolls:
“It was fun. The hardest part was not laughing, frankly…To go for it for, like, five minutes – it was a long time.”

What Tina thought about the kiss:
“I want to state for my husband’s sake that it was a comedy idea, not an erotic idea. I did pitch: Wouldn’t it be funny if the kiss was as long as the credit sequence? It was fun because we’re both so polite and not only are we both married, but we know each other’s spouses. It was the world’s longest closed-mouth kiss. It was like a tongueless turtle mouth.”

What Tina like about the film:
“I liked the idea of playing grown people out on this adventure. I definitely relate to the small details of the script, just how worn-out and in a rut you can get when you’re married and working with kids.”

Jesse James Apologizes to Sandra Bullock, Hopes for Forgiveness

Jesse James issued a public apology to his wife, actress Sandra Bullock and his three children, Chandler, Sunny James and Jesse James Jr.

In a statement, he said:

“The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment. There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way. This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”

On Monday (March 15) Bullock moved out of their Southern California house.
