Javier Bardem Offered Big Role in Bond 23

Javier Bardem has been offered a major role in the next James Bond film.

There is no confirmation on the role he’s been offered and the plot details are being kept under wraps.

The next Bond film will be directed by Sam Mendes and is set for a Nov. 2012 release.

It’s being reported that Bardem will play a villian, as most lead male roles in Bond films are villains

Henry Cavill: New Superman

Henry Cavill has landed the lead role in Zack Snyder’s reboot of Superman.

“In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time, and I am honored to be a part of his return to the big screen,” Zack said in a statement. “I also join Warner Bros., Legendary and the producers in saying how excited we are about the casting of Henry. He is the perfect choice to don the cape and S shield.”

The 27-year-old actor will star in the tentatively titled film Man of Steel, which is set to hit theaters in Dec. 2012.

Jesse Eisenberg Meets Mark Zuckerberg on SNL

During last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live, The Social Network’s Jesse Eisenberg got to finally meet Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg during his opening monologue.

Eisenberg asked Zuckerberg if he ever ended up seeing the film, to which he replied “Yeah I did.”

Eisenberg then asked him his thoughts on the film.

“It was interesting,” Zuckerberg said.

First Look: Rise of the Guardians Cast

Chris Pine, Isla Fisher, Alec Baldwin, Jude Law and Hugh Jackman have been cast in DreamWork’s upcoming film, Rise of the Guardians, based on a series of children’s books by William Joyce.

The animated film tells the story of a group of heroes – each with extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces.

Pine will play Jack Frost, Baldwin will play Santa Clause, Jackman will play the Easter Bunny, Fisher will voice the Tooth Fairy and Law will play The Boogeyman.

Rise of the Guardians hits theaters on Nov. 21, 2012.

Will Ferrell Joins The Office in Multi-Episode Arc

Michael Scott better watch out!

Will Ferrell is heading to The Office for a four-episode arc, which will be aired during the final episodes of the season.

The 43-year-old actor will help send Steve Carell off by playing a branch manager that’s just as inappropriate as Michael Scott.

“We found Steve Carell when he was nothing but a movie star and we turned him into a television star,” said Office exec producer Paul Lieberstein, who also plays Toby on the show via Deadline. “We are proud to continue The Office’s tradition of discovering famous talent, and we hope that once America gets a good look at Will, they’ll see what we see, tremendous raw sexuality.”

Kristen Stewart Rumored to Play Snow White

Kristen Stewart is in negotiations to play the title role in Snow White and the Huntsman.

According to Deadline, Viggo Mortensen is up for the role of the Huntsman in the film.

Charlize Theron is already confirmed to play the role of the Evil Queen, while Stewarts The Runaway’s co-star Riley Keough is also in talks for the lead role.

Kristen’s former The Runaways co-star Riley Keough was placed on the shortlist of ladies up for the role last month.

The film centers around a huntsman who is ordered to take Snow White into the woods and kill her, but instead he chooses to let her go and the two are evidently chained together for part of the movie as they make their escape.

Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem Welcome Baby Boy

Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem are the proud new parents of a baby boy.

Cruz, 36, delivered the child at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to reports in Spanish newspaper El Pais and Hola! magazine.

The actress reportedly had a baby shower at her Beverly Hills home on Jan. 16.

Cruz revealed that she was pregnant last September, after being spotted with an obvious bump on the set of her upcoming film, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

First Look: Katy Perry on How I Met Your Mother

Check out the official photos of Katy Perry’s appearance on an upcoming episode of How I Met Your Mother.

The singer will play Zoey’s (Jennifer Morrison) cousin, a naive girl whom the gang decides to call “Honey.”

In the episode, she’ll get Neil Patrick Harris to come clean about his womanizing ways.

Perry’s appearance will occur on the Feb. 7 episode, and the creators promise that it will be quite the memorable event.

Perry and Harris previously worked together the live action film The Smurfs, due to hit theaters on Aug. 3.

Naomi Watts Joins Leonardo DiCaprio in J. Edgar

Naomi Watts will play Helen Gandy, who served as J. Edgar Hoover’s loyal secretary for 54 years in Clint Eastwood’s biopic J. Edgar.

Watts will works alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, who’ll portray the inaugural FBI director and alleged cross-dresser, as well as Judi Dench, Josh Lucas, Armie Hammer and Ed Westwick.

Originally, Charlize Theron was set to play the role of Gandy, but decided for a role in Snow White and the Huntsman instead.
