Jewel, who is expecting her first child later this year, was involved in a fire truck accident.
The 36-year-old singer is “doing fine” after the two-car collision in Stephenville, TX.
Jewel was driving when the passenger side of her car was hit by a volunteer fire truck.
The singer’s rep said that although she was taken to the hospital and underwent tests to make sure everything was okay, “she and the baby are doing fine.”

Emma Watson is putting school on hold to finish up work on professional projects.
“As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I’ve had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible,” Watson shared on her official Web site.
“I’ve decided to take a bit of time off to completely finish my work on Harry Potter (the last one comes out this summer) and to focus on my other professional and acting projects. I will still be working towards my degree… it’s just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought : )” she continued.

After getting into a car accident, David Arquette took to his Twitter page to inform fans that he is alright.
“I got into a car accident but i’m fine. Luckily I have tiger’s blood running through my veins,” he Tweeted Friday. “Thank you for your concern.”
Arquette was taken by ambulance to the hospital after his car reportedly slammed head-on into another vehicle on a Beverly Hills street.
“Remember to wear your seatbelt-wish I was,” he wrote in another tweet.

According to several reports, Anne Hathaway and James Franco “grew to hate each other” while working on the Oscars together.
“She had to provide all the energy — he was just phoning it in,” a source said.
Another source said: ”He went immediately back to NYC because he was pissed about how the show went.”
After the awards, Franco, skipped his own party at L.A.’s The Writer’s Room.

Natalie Portman, who’s the face of Miss Dior Cherie fragrance, is speaking out against Dior designer John Galliano after a video hit the Web showing him going off in an anti-Semitic rant.
“I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano’s comments that surfaced today,” Portman said in a statement. “In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way. I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful.”
Galliano has since been fired by Dior.

In his new movie Arthur, Russell Brand shares kissing scenes with Jennifer Garner and Greta Gerwig.
In a recent interview with Nextmovie.com, the 35-year-old actor opened up about the smooching scenes.
“She’s like a fairy princess,” Brand said of Garner. “There’s a brand of red-velvet cake, her mouth is made of that. She smashes you in the mouth [in] those kissing scenes. If I was Ben Affleck, man I’d be pissed off.”
And as far as his other leading lady, Gerwig, Brand said: ”She’s delightful and beautiful and funny and smart and the kind of woman you’d give up a billion dollars for.”

Cameron Diaz, who plays a teacher who smokes marijuana in her upcoming film Bad Teacher, confesses that she has experimented with the drug and is convinced that she once purchased weed from Snoop Dogg when they were at school together.
“We went to high school together; he was a year older than me,” she told George Lopez. “He was very tall and skinny and wore lots of ponytails in his hair and I’m pretty sure I got weed from him. I had to have!”
The Green Hornet actress also said that she had a rough time in school.

Four-time Oscar-nominated actress Julianne Moore will be honored by Harvard University as the Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year.
The 50-year-old actress will receive the famous pudding pot during a roast by Hasty Pudding Theatricals on Jan. 27.
The Hasty Pudding Theatrical is the nation’s oldest undergraduate drama troupe.
According to the troupe, Moore was chosen this year due to her talents on the film screen, her roles in Broadway productions and her success as author of two children’s book series.

While on a recent appearance on The Martha Stewart Show, Jennifer Garner admitted that she got drunk.
The actress said, “By the time we get to cooking and having our champagne, I hadn’t had anything to eat… and I got drunk. They needed it [champagne drinking] for continuity and it tasted good… and whenever I’m around her [Stewart] I suddenly get really West Virginian and southern… and so I got drunk and southern, and it was the worst combination.
I can’t bear to watch it because I just started talking faster and faster.”

While celebrating his 40th birthday last week, Jeremy Renner found quite a surprise in his bedroom.
Reportedly, Christina Aguilera, who showed up to the party uninvited, got “wasted” and then passed out on his bed.
“Someone comes and tells me she’s in my room,” Renner said at In Style’s Golden Globe party. “I run up and open the door and I’m like, ‘Um, hi. What are you doing?’ She just starts slurring. Her boyfriend [Matthew Rutler] was rubbing her back. Who comes to someone’s birthday party that they don’t know and gets in their bed?! My parents were there!”
According to a source, ”Christina was a mess at that party. She acted like a fool. Her boyfriend was shushing her and telling her to go to sleep.”
Renner’s rep added that Aguilera “was enjoying herself, but she wasn’t in his bed.”
