Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Files for Divorce

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz are separating after 2½-years of marriage.

“After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” the couple said via a spokesperson. “We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our No. 1 priority. We ask that everyone honor our privacy as we navigate this next phase of our lives.”

TMZ reports that the divorce documents were filed in L.A. Superior Court, with Simpson citing “irreconcilable differences” and seeking spousal support.

The court papers say the couple’s date of separation is to be determined and Simpson is seeking primary physical custody of their 2-year-old son, Bronx, with visitation for Wentz.

She is also seeking to go back to her maiden name of Simpson and drop “Wentz.”

Jude Law and Sienna Miller Break Up

Jude Law and Sienna Miller have split up.

“I can confirm that Jude Law and Sienna Miller are no longer in a relationship,” Law’s rep said.

According to a friend of the actors (via People), “It is mutual and amicable and they are still friends.”

Additionally, the source says that they have ended their relationship weeks ago.

“It was an entirely an end-of-the relationship decision,” the friend says. “It had run its course.”

The pair first got engaged in 2004 and split in 2006. They reunited in 2009 and have been dating since.

After eight years of marriage, Olivia Wilde and her husband Tao Ruspoli have mutually agreed to end their relationship.

Wilde’s rep confirmed the separation.

According to a source, the Tron actress and Ruspoli “have been living apart after trying for quite some time to make their relationship work.”

Wilde and Ruspoli eloped when the actress was 18. Ruspoli is an Italian prince whose family owns Rome’s Palazzo Ruspoli.

January Jones and Jason Sudeikis have parted ways.

The couple began dating last July when Jones had a guest appearance on Saturday Night Live and reportedly broke up due to long distance.

“They’ve been on and off for a few months and then the long distance kind of ended it,” a source said. “But they could get back together. It was just hard to stay together with the distance.”

The couple, who first met on the set of 2005’s Pride & Prejudice, reportedly broke up a few months ago.

The pair shared a London home overlooking Hyde Park, but after their split Knightley bought a house in the South of France, outside Nice.

“They were together for quite a long time, and it is always hard breaking up. She’s focused on her work,” Knightley’s father told the British tabloid the Sun.

According to a source, distance and career “were both considerations. It was time for her to move on.”

Shakira has called it quits with beau Antoni de la Rue on her blog after 11 years of dating.

The 33-year-old Colombian singer wrote: “Since August 2010, we made a mutual decision to take time apart from our romantic relationship. Throughout this time we have continued to work together hand in hand, have remained close and have kept the details absolutely private until now.”

“We view this period of separation as temporary and as a time of individual growth as we continue to be partners in our business and professional lives,” she contined. “Our friendship and understanding of one another is unwavering and indestructible.”

According to a close source, “There was no big drama, it’s just one of those things where they had been together a long time and realized they were more friends and business partners than lovers. It’s sad, but they could get back together. They just needed a break.”

Black Swan actress Mila Kunis and Home Alone’s Macaulay Culkin have ended their eight-year relationship.

According to Kunis’ rep, “The split was amicable, and they remain close friends.”

The pair have reportedly been broken up for some time, although they’ve kept the split quiet while Kunis was promoting her film.

Culkin, 30, who was briefly married to actress Rachel Miner before becoming involved with Kunis, has kept a relatively low profile in recent years, taking on only a few acting projects each year.

Johansson and Reynolds tied the knot in 2008.

Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall are calling it quits.

The Dexter stars, who play brother and sister on the Showtime series, are ending their two-year marriage.

“Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce,” the reps say in a joint statement.

The news comes just a day after Carpenter attended Dexter’s fifth season finale party without Hall.

High School Musical sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have parted ways after 4 years of dating.

“They are 100 percent still good friends,” a source told People.

Sources say that the couple, who began dating in 2006 still remain friends.

“It’s nothing dramatic,” a source told E! Online. “There’s no third party involved.”

Another source said, “They were together for so long. It just ran its course.”

Efron, 23, is currently filming The Lucky One in New Orleans. Hudgens, who turns 22 tomorrow, wraps Journey 2: The Mysterious Island later this week in Hawaii.
