Chord Overstreet Not Returning to Glee

Bad news Gleeks, when Glee returns for its third season on Sept. 20, one student won’t be there.

Show creators have decided not to renew Chord Overstreet’s contract as a series regular.

The 22-year-old actor sent out a Twitter message last week saying: ”Well it’s been a good year. Too bad its over. Time for summer and starting fresh.”

However, Darren Criss and Harry Shum, Jr. have been upgraded to series regulars come season three.

Are you sad he’s leaving?

Leona Lewis Campaigns for Glee Role

Leona Lewis really wants a role on Fox’s hit show Glee.

The singer said, ”I’d love to play a rebel. Be a real biker chick in leather and covered in tattoos. A real badass. I could also play like a geek who becomes a swan.”

Lewis might get her wish. She’s friends with Matthew Morrison and the pair have been hanging out during Grammy week.

They also had a duet during one of her concerts.

Glee Takes on Rent

Lea Michele and Amber Riley will reportedly sing a duet together of Rent’s “Take Me or Leave Me” when the show returns.

According to Riley, the song will be a diva-off between their two characters.

Upcoming episodes will feature a couple of Paul McCartney songs, including “Silly Love Songs,” which Darren Criss performs.

Glee returns for the second half of its season on Feb. 6.
