Jesse James Apologizes to Sandra Bullock, Hopes for Forgiveness

Jesse James issued a public apology to his wife, actress Sandra Bullock and his three children, Chandler, Sunny James and Jesse James Jr.

In a statement, he said:

“The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment. There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way. This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”

On Monday (March 15) Bullock moved out of their Southern California house.

Sandra Bullock: Best Actress Winner

Sandra Bullock won her first Oscar for her performance in The Blind Side.

Here’s what she said during her acceptance speech:

“Did I really earn this or did I just wear you all down? I would like to thank the Academy for allowing me in the last month to have the most incredible ride with rooms full of artists that I see tonight and that I’ve worked with before and I hope to work with in the future, who inspire me and blaze trails for us. Four of them that I’ve fallen deeply in love with I share this night with and I share this award with.

Gabby, I love you so much. You are exquisite. You are beyond words to me. Carey, your grace and your elegance and your beauty and your talent makes me sick. Helen, I feel like we are family through family and I don’t have the words to express just what I think of you. And Meryl, you know what I think of you and you are such a good kisser.

Sandra Bullock: Razzie Awards Winner

A while back, Sandra Bullock, who was nominated for the Razzie Awards, said that she would be attending the ceremony, even though she was nominated in the Worst Best Actress comedy for All About Steve.

Here’s her acceptance speech via LA Times:

“I brought the shooting script. I’m willing to go through page by page, read the line the way I did it in the film and, if anyone wants to give me a line read of how I could’ve done it better…. We can do this till about 4 o’clock in the morning. Or you guys can just watch the movie and rethink your decision, and I’ll show up next year and we can go out for a drink afterward.”

Bullock also took the award for Worst Screen Couple for her performance with All About Steve costar, Bradley Cooper.

“If you had seen the film, seen it with your eyes, it’s pretty much a film about a woman stalking a man,” Sandra said. “That doesn’t really set up the premise for a loving couple. So giving us the worst couple award is kind of duh.”

Bullock also brought along a wagon of her DVDs so the audience can see if her performance was really that bad.

Sandra Bullock: ‘I’m So Not Winning An Oscar’

Sandra-Bullock-1Sandra Bullock is sure that her name isn’t going to be called for the Best Actress award at next month’s Academy Awards.

“Nine times out of ten I always pick who’s going to win,” Bullock told reporters at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. “And I already know who’s going to win. I’m not going to say, but nine times out of ten, I’m right.”

She already received a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award (she tied with Meryl Streep) for her role in The Blind Side.

“I have to say, all the ladies in our category, we don’t care who wins. Someone’s going to win and the rest of us will be really happy for whoever won. We’re just happy to be here. And we like the company we’re in.”

So what does she plan to do after the awards ceremony?

“You go home and you have to pick up dog poop – and we have a two-legged dog. To me, that’s not mundane, though. Life is tricky enough that I actually love and embrace the normal day-to-day rituals. You get up, you make your coffee, read your paper, you do the school run, you go do your things. I’m just lucky that I get to do them.”

The 45-year-old actress won the Best Actress award for her role in The Blind Side.

The beat out Emily Blunt (The Young Victoria), Helen Mirren (The Last Station), Carey Mulligan (An Education) and Gabourey Sidibe (Precious).

‘There’s no surprise that my work got better when I met you,” said Bullock to her husband Jesse James. ”Because I never knew what it felt like for someone to have my back.”

FYI: Julia Roberts was initially offered the lead role in The Blind Side, but turned it down because of the low amount of money she was offered.

Sandra Bullock: 2009’s Top Star

Sandra-BullockMovie theater owners have spoken and they have picked the top Hollywood star who shined at the box office – Sandra Bullock.

Quigley Publishing Company’s released their annual list last Thursday, which consisted of the top money making stars. The research was based on a poll of hundreds of theater executives.

Bullock had beat Meryl Streep and George Clooney at the box office with The Proposal and The Blind Side, which together made over $542 million in ticket sales this year (The Proposal made $315 million worldwide, while The Blind Side made $193 million in the U.S. and Canada and All About Steve made $34 million in the U.S. and Canada).

The list “does not rank stars only on how much cash their films made, but on what theater owners say about who attracts audiences on their star power alone.”

The last woman that took the top spot on Quigley’s list was Julia Roberts in 1999.

Johnny Depp, who starred in Public Enemies this year took the No. 2 spot, followed by Matt Damon, George Clooney, Robert Downey Jr., Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf and Denzel Washington.

Sandra Bullock Covers Entertainment Weekly

sandra-bullock-ewSandra Bullock shows that she can still hold her own on the big screen. The 45 year-old actress has had a great year; her film The Proposal surpassed expectations when it made $314 million worldwide and now she’s getting Oscar buzz for her role in The Blind Side.

Bullock says that age shouldn’t matter and that she can still bring in movie ticket sales.

“Sexism is everywhere. Ageism is everywhere. But you know know what? It’s about making money. Look at what Sarah Jessica Parker did with Sex and the City. Look at what Meryl Streep is doing every other week! The proof is in the pudding. I didn’t have the ‘Oh my God, I’m not working because I’m 40.’ I was working when I was 40. I’ve never had this many opportunities in my lifetime.”
