On how her style has changed throughout the years:
“It’s just simpler. I don’t buy anything trendy. I used to be more easily seduced by some momentary idea of what was fashionable. Now I’m slightly savvier. I still have the same ideas in my head about what looks good on me and what doesn’t.”
On juggling motherhood and her career:
It is the eternal conflict of every working woman, and I am not complaining, because I’ve done this to myself. And I have a wonderful, wonderful nanny who allows me to be a working person. The great challenge for me is to be all things to all people; I want to be a great mother, and I want to feel good when I’m at work. But it is hard.
On her modest beginnings:
I feel lucky because [my background gave me] an appreciation for sitting here and having this tea and drinking out of this cup. I am not blind to it. I don’t want my children to feel they have a sense of entitlement. I want them to work hard and be challenged. That’s hard to do when you have everything you need and want, so I am working on those values all the time.
Where she sees herself in 10 years:
Being so greedy, I would like more of the same. Most important to me is my home life and the well-being of my children. Everything as it is now would be thrilling.

Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker looks stunning on the cover of Elle’s December issue. The usually private actress opens up about life on set and the smell of diapers.
On rumors of not getting along with Sex and the City co-star Kim Cattrall:
“I don’t think anybody wants to believe that I love Kim. I adore her. I wouldn’t have done the movie without her. Didn’t and wouldn’t.”
On using a surrogate to carry her twins:
“I knew there would be lots of opinions about, ‘Well, why didn’t you adopt? Why didn’t you do this? Why didn’t you do that?’ and the truth of the matter is, it wasn’t one or the other for us. We had explored, and continue to explore all options, and this one just happened first. This isn’t the period at the end of the sentence.”
On being a hands-on mom:
“I love the smell of diapers; I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm liked a baked good. I love the smell of Balmex. Love it.”

It seems like the sequel to Sex and the City will be very star-studded. We previously reported that Liza Minnelli, Miley Cyrus and Penelope Cruz will each be making cameos in Sex and the City 2. Now reports are saying that fashion guru Tim Gunn will be appearing in the film as well. Although there is no word what he will be doing in the film, he will be playing himself.
Sarah Jessica Parker has appeared as a guest judge on Project Runway season 4.

According to OK! Magazine, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall are feuding on set again, which is causing problems with filming the sequel.
OK! reports:
An insider said: “While the cast is all smiles on the outside, the level of dislike is unbelievable. No-one is having a good time on this shoot.”
Sarah – who plays Carrie Bradshaw – is believed to be growing increasingly stressed as she tries to combine filming with the demands of her six-year-old son James and baby twin daughters Marion and Tabitha, who were born via a surrogate in June.
And Kim is also making her co-stars, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon very uneasy.
The source told Star: “Kim has been taking every chance to snipe. You could cut the tension with a knife. Their fighting has also made Cynthia and Kristin miserable, too.”
